Research Paper Workshop in Ghana

The Southern University’s International Center for Information Technology and Development (ICITD), Louisiana, USA and the Ghana-Kofi Annan Center of Excellence in ICT (ATTI-KACE) are delighted to organize a workshop on research and academic writing in Ghana.

The objective of the workshop is to equip participants with the skills to develop good research papers. Participants will be mentored in developing research paper for submission to academic conferences and journals. The immediate target conference is the 2010 International Conference on ICT for Africa. Paper Submission Guidelines for the International Conference on ICT for Africa 2010

Doctoral Consortium Papers:

  1. This is only open to doctoral, graduate and undergraduate students
  2. 1500-2500 words of extended abstract (including references, figures and main text)

Track Sessions Papers:

  1. Research in Progress  - 3000-5000 words (including references, figures and main text)
  2. Full Papers - 5000 words (including references, figures and main text)

Please submit your paper electronically through our online submission system (click on Submit Paper on the Top menu) on or before December 1st, 2009. For papers to appear in the proceedings, at least one author must register for the conference. Notification of paper acceptance by December 31st, 2009. For consideration for the best paper award, submit the full manuscript by November 10, 2009. Final camera- ready paper submission January 31st, 2010.
